In total, there are well over 150 national and state parks, and almost all them let RVs or campers. Before you choose a seat to plan your next holiday or RV trip, it'd help to know a few excellent spots. Take it from a Florida native, we've some of the finest campgrounds in the entire country. Withlacoochee is a gorgeous area nestled in central Florida. If you haven't ever heard about it before, or you haven't been there, it's well-known for the Weeki Wachee springs nearby, including live mermaids. Besides all the vegetation, there are plenty of animals drifting around also, such as turtles, dozens of birds and gators.
Port Saint Lucie is a beautiful, ocean side area with lots to do such as the lovely Jensen Beach. There are yearly rates and seasonal rates available determined by the length of time you wish to remain. The campsite is not bad, and it just happen to be docked right alongside one of the best salt water fishing spots in the whole state. There are two historical museums nearby for those interested previously, and plenty of alternate activities for those that prefer the excellent outdoors. Key West delivers a piece of island living, with Bahamian style places. If you have never been, you will be pleasantly surprised. Bluewater Key RV offers apparently spotless and personal RV lots that are near Key West - the greatest and most popular Key - however far enough to be able not to be crowded. The park delivers that a community pool, showers, that a clubhouse, and of course that a coin laundry mat.
